I stopped watching porn

My story

I was molested when I was 3 years old by my own relative. This was a very traumatising experience and by 5 years I thought sex was a game and OK . This activated me sexually and all I could think when I was growing up was sex.

A friend introduced me to pornography at 13 years and I got hooked to it and would use it to get aroused and masturbate. I struggled with porn and masturbation for 12 years, but Jesus son of the Almighty God saved me at 25 years. I rededicated my life in a program called Mizizi (Roots) at Mavuno Church. I am now a recovering addict in this never ending struggle.

Now I have dedicated my life to helping guys just like me to get a solution to this drug, pornography, that got me so low, almost lost my job, my fiancée, my friends, my life. Scripture has played a big part in healing me. I live day by day reciting Romans 6:12-20 and more recently John 15.

I started this site in response to God’s calling, He loved me much, and by His perfect will saved me, and in turn I give back to the world in this way.

      Hey Kanyi,
Thanks for the comment. I was given the courage by God. It wasn’t easy before I could put that post, I had to go through a long time of healing. God Almighty deserves all the glory because I have been saved by the precious blood of his Son Jesus Christ.
      Its my pleasure sharing.

Hm, amen man, amen. This is a very common struggle amongst many men in America and really around the world. And it’s so hard living in America where pornography is actually praised and rewarded, when all I want to do is live like Jesus.
It’s tough to fight through and the urges will always be recurring throughout the rest of our time here, but by the blood of Jesus we have been given the power to overcome temptation; we’re free to choose not to sin. God bless you!

To God be all the Glory!!

God truly delivers, before your birth he had promises for you. Now that you are no longer ignorant of that fact come on and embrace them. Declaring and confidently claiming them one by one. Call unto him….Jer 33:3, ask for a pure heart to let go of the past …Psa 51:10.

Go out and be the best you can be for the Lord God has decreed in your favour!!

    Baraka!

when Christ died, victory was given to us over ALL things!!I choose to stand on this word and focus on my God-given purpose..temptations will come but i claim this word-losers focus on what they are going through, however winners focus on where Christ is taking them to!we are on the winning side ya’ll 🙂

We are winners, but we also have to feed the right wolf. Practical approach to this bondage is very important. Go through the various articles and practice some of them, especially sorting out the root cause of why you masturbate. God bless you man.
